Starters

roasted tomato and basil soup with parmesan croutes and basil pesto (v)

spiced butternut squash, coconut and coriander soup (v)

vine tomato, fresh basil, avocado and mozzarella with extra virgin olive oil (v)

warm tart of goats cheese and caramelised red onion served with rocket salad, balsamic and pesto (v)

chicken liver pate with bramley apple jelly

proscuitto, goats cheese and fig salad  

italian style anti pasti  (mozzarella, sun dried tomatoes; parma ham with rocket and parmesan, roasted peppers and olives)

 

crab and king prawn cocktail

smoked salmon with lemon and horseradish cream

melon and parma ham

salad of fresh crab with samphire 

rock oysters with lemon, red wine and shallot vinegar

smoked mackerel pate with horseradish and watercress

all served with freshly baked breads and butter

Main Courses 

venison casserole served with truffle mash, honey glazed baby carrots and parsnips

fillet of salmon with lemon and water cress sauce, and crushed new potatoes (new!)

roast belly of pork with sherry gravy and whipped rocket mash (new!)

cumberland sausages with cheesy mash, spring greens and red onion gravy

beef stew and dumplings with parsley mash

roast sirloin of beef with yorkshire puddings, gravy and roast potatoes

roast leg of lamb with dauphinoise potatoes

moroccan lamb tagine with lemon and herb couscous

rack of lamb with a garlic and herb crust, farmhouse potatoes and green beans (new!)

char grilled breast of chicken topped with a medley of wild mushrooms and parmesan served with a cream sauce and tagliatelle

pancetta wrapped breast of chicken, light crème fraiche and tarragon sauce served with asparagus and baby potatoes

braised duck legs with borlotti beans, spinach and potatoes

barbecue chicken with wasabi mash and pak choi (new!)

thai yellow curry with cod and king prawns served with thai fragrant rice

veal ragout with parmesan mash

cauliflower and cheesy potato pie with dijon and herb crumble (v) 

stuffed aubergine with basil and tomato (v)

goat’s cheese and red pepper stacks with fresh pesto sauce (v)
